Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Warehouse Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of goods out of our facility, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and inventory management. This role requires proficiency in handling various shipping and receiving tasks, including packaging, loading, and unloading materials.
Duties
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately.
- Utilize MRP systems to track inventory levels and manage stock efficiently.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload materials safely.
- Maintain an organized warehouse environment to facilitate efficient order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with e-commerce teams to ensure timely processing of online orders.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist in stock management activities.
- Document all shipping and receiving transactions accurately in AS400 or other software systems.
Experience
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with package handling, order fulfillment processes, and inventory management systems.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of e-commerce operations is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
