Job Overview: Love From USA is searching for a Purchasing Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist the buying team by analyzing historic reports, inputting purchase data, and organizing files.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry
- Analyze and verify data, correcting when necessary
- Prepare reorders for assigned merchandise
- Track purchase orders and follow up on status
- Enter data from written documents into computer, files and forms
- Analyzing sales-related data to predict future sales and stock requirements
- Knowledgeable about consumer preferences, particularly as these relate to e-commerce
- Ensure that online stores are visually appealing, easy to navigate, with accurate and up-to-date content
- Act as a liaison between Buying and Marketing teams ensuring sales/promotions and products are cohesive
- Store documents in designated computer files and locations
- Respond to requests for information and access relevant files
- Operate common office equipment, like scanners and printers
- Comply with date integrity and security policies
- Provide accurate documents within the given time frames
- Complete all the assigned tasks
- Attend sales training activities and Company meetings
SKILLS & SPECIFICATIONS:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Excel Spreadsheets
- Excellent attention to detail
- Computer skills
- Good interpersonal skills for interacting with vendors, buyers and stores
- Team player and has the ability to meet assigned tasks and goals
- Exceptional organization and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Maintains confidentiality
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school degree, diploma, or a GED equivalent qualification from a certified institution
- Proficient in relevant computer applications
- Data entry in retail environment a plus
- Accurate keyboard skills and ability to enter data at required speed.
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
- Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Experience with Shopify is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
