Position Summary:
Love INC of Mid-Delmarva is seeking a dedicated and organized Program Coordinator to oversee and develop our volunteer coordination efforts and transformational ministries. This individual will play a crucial role in engaging the local community, recruiting and supporting volunteers, and ensuring the effective implementation of programs designed to empower individuals and families in need.
Key Responsibilities:
Volunteer Recruitment & Coordination
- Recruit, train, and support volunteers to effectively serve in Transformational Ministries and all Love INC programs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with volunteers, ensuring they feel engaged and valued.
- Organize volunteer orientations, training sessions, and appreciation events.
- Maintain a database of volunteers, tracking availability, skills, and interests.
Transformational Ministries Oversight
- Lead and oversee the development, implementation, and growth of Transformational Ministries.
- Work closely with staff, church partners, and community members to develop programs that promote personal, financial, and spiritual growth.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary improvements.
- Collaborate with local churches and organizations to provide resources, classes, and mentorship opportunities.
- Ensure programs align with Love INC’s mission and values.
Community Engagement & Partnerships
- Build relationships with local churches, organizations, and community members to support Love INC’s mission.
- Coordinate outreach efforts to increase community awareness and participation.
- Represent Love INC at local events, meetings, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Passion for Love INC’s mission and a heart for serving others.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in program development, volunteer coordination, or nonprofit work preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
- Comfortable with public speaking.
- Loves building relationships with others.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in ministry, social services, or community outreach.
- Background in volunteer management and recruitment.
- Knowledge of best practices in program development and evaluation.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $30,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
