Our company is looking for a experienced Network Installation technician. Our ideal candidate will be able to repair anything from data networks to security systems. Due to the nature of this position, applicants must be comfortable working in small spaces and under time pressure. Qualified candidates should have construction experience and a background working on security systems and networks.

Responsibilities:

Qualified Installation Technician’s will need to install, troubleshoot, and certify all types of data network / security cable in a commercial environment.

Installation Technician’s will travel to the client site to complete necessary projects.

Clerical, good documentation skills, and ability to follow procedure is a must.

Qualified candidates should be familiar with, or have the ability to learn / become familiar with:

* Data Network Systems/Security systems Troubleshooting

* Low Voltage Commercial cabling experience

* Fiber Optic Cable Installation Single Mode and Multi-Mode

* Pulling, terminating and testing of Cat 5E, Cat6, Fiber, and Coax

* CCTV / video surveillance

* Conduit / Raceway / Inner-duct Installation

* Inside manufacturing plant / outside manufacturing plant / commercial buildings / schools / campus / environments

* Construction / Industrial work environment

* Construction environment Safety

Applicant must have the following:

• At least 1 year of Security Camera Experience
• 1 Year of Data Cabling Installation
• Have a valid drivers license
• Texas DPS Criminal Background Check
• FBI Background Check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

• We have clients up to 2 hours outside of Tyler, TX and travel to their location about 50% of the time in company vehicles. Would this be an issue for you?

Experience:

• installing network cabling or security cameras: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Alarm Installer License or previously held one (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Tyler, TX (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Required)
