What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting / Finance Internship (Summer 2025) position at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores?
BASIC PURPOSE
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the accounting department in day-to-day accounting functions for Love’s and Affiliated Companies.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist with month-end financial reports
- Post journal entries
- Assist with auditors
- Assist with various budget cycles
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Understanding and documenting the Company’s control environment
- Provide quality compliance and administrative support to the department
- Completion of various regulatory filings
- Interact and collaborate with other departments and operations
- Other duties assigned as needed
