Now Hiring for Immediate: PT/PRN Transportation Driver/Direct Care Staff
Location: Based in South Lake and Sumter Counties area.
Service Area: Leesburg, FL

Kerrington's is a medical day care facility. We are seeking a
compassionate and reliable PT/PRN Transportation Driver
to assist with transporting students to and from home to
our center. This position also include direct care support as
needed as needed during transport or while on-site at the center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and timely transportation for children from age 6 weeks to 21 years old.
• Ensure a secure and supportive environment during travel.
• Assist clients with mobility needs (ambulatory, wheelchair).
• Support basic care needs during trips (e.g. supervision, behavior support, personal care assistance if needed).
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and follow safety protocols.
• Maintain professional communication with team members and supervisors.
• More routes may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Valid Florida Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental or behavioral disabilities preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)/
• Level 2 Background and local screen
• Flexible availability for PRN/on-call shifts.

Preferred Candidates:

• Reside in South Lake or Sumter County for ease of access to transportation routes.
• Have experience in healthcare, child care or direct support settings.
