The Sr. Manager of Growth will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive customer acquisition and revenue growth through key retail media partners like Target, Walmart and Ulta, along with supporting Amazon and direct-to-consumer. You’ll leverage both paid and organic tactics to maximize exposure, optimize performance, and drive scalable growth in a highly competitive retail environment.
This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, data analytics, creative problem solving, and hands-on experience with retail media platforms. You'll work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales teams to align efforts and achieve growth goals.
Ideally, this role is located in our NYC office but we will consider remote candidates in the US & Canada.
Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000 for NYC hires. (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include work experience, education, location, and skill level)
Key Responsibilities:
- Retail Media Strategy: Develop and execute data-driven retail media strategies across major platforms (e.g., Target, Walmart, Ulta) to drive sales growth.
- Campaign Management: Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), such as ROAS
- Performance Optimization: Analyze campaign performance, identify trends, and recommend actionable strategies to improve ad effectiveness and customer experience
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams to ensure alignment on growth goals and leverage retail media insights to inform broader business strategies
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics across retail media channels. Use insights to drive actionable recommendations and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in retail media, competitor strategies, and consumer behavior to inform growth strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Budget Management: Manage and allocate budgets for retail media campaigns, ensuring optimal spend allocation for maximum return on investment
- A/B Testing & Experimentation: Conduct A/B tests and other experiments to assess new strategies, creatives, and audience segments
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years of experience in growth, marketing, or performance marketing, with a focus on retail media platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.).
- Technical Skills: Expertise in day-to-day management of Retail media networks including paid search, display ads, sponsored products, Roundel and Walmart connect. Familiarity with Meta, Tiktok, Pinterest and Google Analytics.
- Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-backed decisions to drive growth.
- Project Management: Experience in writing briefs for creative execution and managing multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with growth and marketing technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience executing large retail media budgets.
- Previous experience in retail growth strategies.
