Job Overview:
We are a full-service vacation rental management company seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team! This role is essential to maintaining the functionality and safety of our vacation rental properties in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains. The Maintenance Technician will handle a wide range of maintenance issues, including electrical and HVAC troubleshooting, basic carpentry and handyman repairs, and hot tub servicing. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to respond to emergency situations when needed. **Key Responsibilities:** - HVAC troubleshooting, including basic diagnostics and repairs - General handyman tasks such as plumbing, drywall repair, painting, and carpentry - Service, maintain, and repair hot tubs - Conduct routine property inspections to identify potential issues - Perform scheduled maintenance and respond to repair requests from guests - Handle emergency maintenance requests during on-call shifts - Maintain clear communication with management and other team members regarding ongoing tasks and issues - Ensure all maintenance work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards **Qualifications:** - Proven experience in maintenance roles, particularly in vacation rentals or property management - Hands-on experience with electrical and HVAC troubleshooting and repair is a plus - Strong handyman and carpentry skills (plumbing, drywall, painting, etc.) - Experience servicing hot tubs is a plus - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks - Must be available for some on-call shifts for emergency repairs - Valid driver’s license and clean driving record - Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks **What We Offer:** - Competitive pay based on experience - Company-provided vehicle and cell phone - Opportunities for career growth within our rapidly expanding team - A dynamic and supportive work environment in a stunning mountain setting If you’re a skilled maintenance professional with a passion for problem-solving and ensuring guest satisfaction, we’d love to hear from you!
