REPORTS TO: Survivor Care Senior Rapid Response & Long Term Manager

STATUS: Full-time

SALARY RANGE: $73,500 - $77,754 (depending on experience and language skills)

LOCATION: New Haven, CT

OVERVIEW:  The Survivor Care Clinical Supervisor is a full-time position. In collaboration with the Director of US Survivor Care, and the Survivor Care Senior Rapid Response and Long Term Program Manager, the Survivor Care Clinical Supervisor oversees the implementation of the Survivor Care’s Long-Term Services. This position is responsible for providing direct supervision to Survivor Care Social Workers and for providing Rapid Response and Sustained Care service delivery.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Development and Management:

  • Provide direct supervision to Survivor Care Social Worker providing Long-Term Services to program participants. 
  • Collaborate with the Survivor Care Senior Rapid Response and Long Term Program Manager to assign program participants receiving Long-Term Services to Survivor Care Social Workers for appropriate service delivery.
  • Work with Survivor Care Social Workers to determine and support their implementation of and referrals to appropriate client services.
  • Work with Survivor Care Social Workers and affiliated support systems to identify and address barriers to service delivery.
  • Ensure Survivor Care Social Workers are implementing Long-Term Services and maintaining client records in accordance with Love146’s Survivor Care Policies and Procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Survivor Care Senior Rapid Response and Long Term Program Manager for assigning Rapid Responses referrals and working with Sustained Care clients as needed . 
  • Collaborate with the Survivor Care Senior Rapid Response and Long Term Program Manager to regularly analyze and evaluate program activities, and make necessary program modifications in order to ensure effective service provision.
  • Engage and collaborate with Connecticut-based government agencies, criminal justice personnel, and victim and child service providers to promote awareness and effective implementation of Survivor Care program services.
  • Collaborate and participate in Love 146 meetings.

Personnel Management:

  • Work with the Survivor Care Senior Rapid Response and Long Term Program Manager to onboard and train Survivor Care Social Workers providing Long-Term Services.
  • Supervise Survivor Care Social Workers providing Long-Term Services in accordance with HR policies.
  • Support Survivor Care Social Workers supervising MSW Interns to ensure that their placement is operated in accordance with CSWE standards and the terms set forth by their university.
  • Evaluate employee performance, address performance issues, and engage in career development and succession planning for all direct reports.
  • Help promote a culture that fosters passion for the mission, cooperation, open and frequent communication, teamwork, and common vision.

Service Coordination and Implementation:

  • Provide Rapid Response service provision for the Connecticut Survivor Care Program. 
  • Provide direct Sustained Care services to youth who reach out looking for support once in the Sustained Care phase of service. 
  • Ensure proper documentation of all Rapid Response, and Sustained Care activities to ensure appropriate data tracking and facilitate program monitoring and evaluation.
  • Provide information, referrals, crisis intervention, and safety planning to family members and other individuals responsible for the care of program participants.
  • Collaborate and participate in case meetings with providers involved with program participants to advocate for and coordinate service delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key state and community-based agencies, independent service providers, educators, and other members of participants’ support networks.
  • Implement Love146’s Survivor Care program services with a standard of excellence.
  • Performs other activities as assigned, including but not limited to assistance in training of staff and community providers.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Clinical social work license in the State of Connecticut (or ability to transfer license to Connecticut).
  • A minimum two years experience working in non-profit organizations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge regarding domestic minor sex trafficking and its impact on victims.
  • A minimum one-year experience working with children at high-risk for trafficking; experience working with confirmed victims preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams and/or staff.
  • Knowledge and experience working with state and private child welfare agencies.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and exercise judgment and discretion.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to find creative solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, current automobile insurance, and access to a reliable car.

Clients’ homes/placements, community settings, Love146’s headquarter office and automobile travel.
