Light Duty Home Care

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide/Companion to provide support to individuals who need assistance with daily activities due to age, illness, or disability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in home care but no experience is necessary and a commitment to improving the quality of life for individuals requiring assistance. As a Home Care Aide, you will work closely with individuals, their families, to deliver personalized care tailored to each clients needs.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients health status and develop individualized care plan.
• Assist with daily living activities, including light cleaning duties such as laundry, dusting, dishwashing, vacuuming, and running errands.
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Respond promptly to clients inquiries and concerns, providing compassionate support.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home health care or a similar setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong assessment skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families.
• Ability to work independently while managing time effectively.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between patient homes.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.24 - $14.02 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
