Get to Know Your Team:
- Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital, with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services.
Responsibilities
- Prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- May provide clerical support for assigned department to include but not limited to scheduling appointments, record keeping and answering phones.
- Performs quality control and maintains equipment and reports areas of concern to appropriate manager.
- Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
- Maintains credentials and/or licensures.
- Participates and attends departmental meetings.
- Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.
- Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge.
- Cooperates and interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to "service".
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
- One (1) year clinical internship
- ARRT(N), or NMTCB, or ASCP(N)
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certificate issued by State of NM
- CPR Certified
Preferred Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Two (2) years of related experience
