- Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services.
Responsibilities
- Assists cardiologists with cardiac procedures and exams including stress tests.
- Maintains and monitors systems, equipment, and supplies for assigned departments.
- Performs complex and technical electrocardiograms per the request of a physician in the diagnosis of arrhythmias.
- Utilizes MUSE operation and functions to include acquisition, editing, transmission, and retrieval of data.
- May provide clerical support for assigned departments.
- Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- HS Diploma
- Knowledge of Anatomy
- Physiology and Radiation Safety procedures.
- One (1) year of related experience in a healthcare environment.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire.
- CPR.
- CPR certified
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in CVT program from an accredited institution.
- Certified Medical Assistant, with experience in physiology.
- Paramedic or EMT, basic Arrhythmia course, and completion of EKG course.
- National Certification (RCVT/MA/EMT), Paramedic or Exercise Physiologist
