- Lovelace Medical Group is a multispecialty provider group which includes clinics, doctors and advanced practice providers in a broad range of specialties and primary care.
Responsibilities
- The Paramedic, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician, provides direct care to patients needing emergency medical treatment.
- The Paramedic will provide assistance in maintaining supplies and providing high-quality patient-centered to care to our patients.
- The Paramedic will work under the supervision and direction of the physician and within the scope of the NM Licensed Paramedic Practice Act.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- All EMT-P’s will complete the RN competencies as currently in place and validated annually through Lovelace Education and in accordance with the NM EMT-P scope of practice.
- EMT-Paramedic
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required through the American Heart Association
- NIHSS Certification
- 2 years experience
- A combination of hospital experience and experience as a paramedic may be used to meet the experience requirement
Preferred Job Requirements:
- 1 year of ED hospital experience
- National Registry
