Job Description
- Perform clinical and administrative duties that assist in delivering effective patient care within assigned areas.
- Provide exceptional patient experience by greeting patients, escorting them to exam rooms, and performing vitals and other related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate knowledge of medical practices and patient care as it relates to the clinical setting and medical specialty.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
- One year of recent experience working in a medical facility performing Medical Assistant duties or equivalent.
- Recent graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- BLS certification; and, if required, maintain training in venipuncture.
