- Lovelace Regional Hospital includes 24/7 emergency services, intensive care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, and surgical and birthing services for Roswell and the surrounding community.
Responsibilities
- Provides personal, equipment, and property security for assigned area.
- May provide information, directions, and escort service as needed.
- Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Completed security guard training through an approved agency Level I and II or obtained within 6 months of hire
- Will be certified in taser, baton, and handcuffing.
- Trained in de-escalation and patient immobilization
- Required to wear Body Armor, taser, baton, and handcuff-associated gear while on duty
- To drive a Lovelace-owned vehicle, you must possess a valid NM driver’s license on your person and no DUI/DWI within the last five years
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Experience in general security
- 1 year security experience
- Hospital environment
- CPR Certification
