- Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital, with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services.
Responsibilities
- Attends to the safe, accurate and timely service of all electrical duties.
- May be required to perform licensed trades tasks, such as a light equipment operator, carpenter, painter, and/or locksmith.
- Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
- Repairs and performs maintenance to the hospital electrical distribution systems, hospital electrical equipment, and small electrical appliances
- Performs new electrical installation when needed and preventative maintenance checks as required
- Maintains charts, logs and records as required, familiar with all electric blue prints for all hospital buildings
- My be required to assist with a wide range of advance technical journeyman level preventive maintenance and repairs for assigned facility and/or department
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Four (4) years of relevant work experience
- Current Journeyman Electrician’s License
- New Mexico driver’s license. With good driving record for the past five years.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- One year Vocational Training/Technical school
