Job Title: High School Girls’ Volleyball Head Coach
Position Type: Part-Time; Volleyball Season (August to Start of November) – 2025-2026 School Year
Reports To: Athletic Coordinator/Academy Principal
Salary: $2,750.00 to $4,500.00 per season, based on experience
SUMMARY
Loveland Classical Schools recognizes the integral role that athletic competition plays in developing our students into men and women of character and virtue. As such, it is expected that all coaches hold themselves to the same high standard of decorum and character that the entire faculty and student body of LCS adheres to.
Coaches are expected to thoroughly understand the rules, principles, and competitive strategies of the sport they coach. They are expected to be present at all in-season and out of season practices, and at all games. Should a coach be unable to attend a game or practice, they are to make suitable arrangements in their absence. Coaches should be familiar with and comply with the faculty dress code for LCS.
Loveland Classical has a highly competitive program with student-athletes that are dedicated to the program and committed to improving their volleyball skills and knowledge. LCS is looking for a coach that can help guide student-athletes to learning more about volleyball and improving their skills while pursuing excellence through vigorous diligence, habituation of ethical virtues, and cultivation of social responsibility.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend all practices and games
Assist with set up and take down of equipment for practices and games
Develop/improve athlete’s basic volleyball skills and knowledge
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED
Coaching experience of high school age athletics
Volleyball or coaching experience
Concussion training or willing to obtain through CHSAA
CPR/First Aid Certified (preferred)
Playing experience (preferred)
EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION:
This is an AT-WILL employment position. This means that the employee may be discharged for any reason or no reason at any time at the will of the school.
This position will be exempt, meaning that the employee is not entitled to overtime pay.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
