Position: Temporary Digital Marketing Specialist
Reports To: Director of Marketing
Compensation: $21.50-$23.50 per hour
Duration: 2/5/2025-6/15/2025
Position Summary:
The Temporary Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for guiding marketing efforts using new media and digital tools. The Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital advertising campaigns that promote Loveland Living Planet Aquarium and its mission. Additionally, the Temporary Digital Marketing Specialist will conduct market and guest research to analyze visitor trends, preferences, and behaviors, ensuring that marketing strategies are data-driven and effectively targeted. The Specialist must have strong knowledge of all digital advertising areas and successfully lead, execute, and convert campaigns within each specialty area of digital advertising.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage all aspects of the Aquarium’s digital advertising campaigns.
- Recommend, plan, and execute digital advertising buys across multiple platforms.
- Maintain a digital dashboard of various advertising accounts, ensuring performance tracking and optimization.
- Analyze digital data to draw key recommendations for campaign adjustments and improvements.
- Monitor key digital marketing metrics to track campaign success and effectiveness.
- Report on results generated from digital advertising efforts and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Stay up to date on digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the Aquarium’s digital presence and maintain its leadership in digital marketing.
- Conduct market and guest research to gather insights into audience behavior, preferences, and trends.
- Utilize research findings to refine targeting strategies, improve engagement, and optimize campaign performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing initiatives with audience insights.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field.
- Minimum three (2) years of relevant experience in digital marketing.
- Continuously improve by analyzing relevant digital advertising data, metrics, and insights and applying best practices to drive informed decisions.
- Positive attitude, detail-oriented, with good multitasking and organizational ability.
- Ability to think both creatively and strategically.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Responds well under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience managing digital advertising platforms and demand-side platforms.
- Experience creating and optimizing SQL reports for integration with automation tools.
Special Working Conditions:
- The position will primarily be in an office environment. Periodic weekend, evening, and holiday work are expected.
