What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Teachers Needed position at Lovell Weekday Ministry?
Lovell Weekday Ministry is looking for a caring, compassionate and qualified after care teacher to work Monday through Friday, 8:30-5:30 OR 12/2-5:30. The candidate must meet the following qualifications:
- Must be over the age of 18
- Must have at least an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working at a child care center with ages 6 weeks through 12 years.
- Caring and compassionate attitude a must
- Assist teachers in creating lesson plans and maintaining a safe classroom environment
- Develop a cleaning routine throughout the day that keeps all of the interactive areas sanitary and safe
- Monitor children throughout the day and during outdoor activities. Interact with the children to enhance their learning
- Work closely with teachers to maintain communication with parents
- Prepare and serve meals and monitor children at the same time
