Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to patients in ADL's (includes bathing, dressing, grooming, and cleaning patients room).
- Turning or moving patients
- answering patient calls
- assist with meal prep
- following safety procedures
- Ensure patients receive their proper medication in a timely manner
- Communicate with medical professionals about patients health or issues that may arise
- Prepare and administer meals in accordance with dietary needs
- Provide assistance to day to day activity
Qualifications
- Experience working as a personal care aide or similar field with at least 6 months experience
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain empathetic and patience to patient needs
- Highly attentive to detail
- Certifications that may apply
- Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly.
- Ability to carry out directions, read and write.
- Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
