Shifts: 10-hour daytime shifts. Flexible scheduling 1-4 days a week M-F. You set your schedule. 10-hour shifts only: no starting early or ending late.

Location: We are a traveling Trim Team, providing trim services at Various Sites throughout Southern Michigan: Detroit, Flint, Monroe, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Saginaw and Areas in between.

As a trimmer, you will be hired to cover a job area from your location up to a parameter of about 1.5 hours from your home. So reliable transpiration and flexibility in your commute times is a must. You will drive to meet the trim teams each morning (varying distances from your home up to 1.5 hours). Team meetup is about 10-15 minutes from the grower's trim site. After you commute to the Team meetup site, you will carpool the remaining 10-15 minutes together as a team from the meetup location to the Trim site.

We are looking for reliable trimmers who keep their commitments. Our trim shifts run M-F and each shift is 10 hours, starting around 8:00 am. We offer a lot of flexibility in choosing which and how many days you work. You set your own schedule. But, you would need to work the whole 10-hour shift for any days you sign up for. So no half days.

We love trimmers with experience, but no prior trimming experience is necessary. If you can bring a commitment to learn and become productive in trimming, an ability to be on-time and keep your commitments, and a professional deminer at all times, then we will provide the training, equipment, and a competitive salary. JOB DUTIES

• Efficiently trims and de-fans marijuana plants (wet and dry trim).
• Trim product with care, ensuring high quality and visual aesthetics consistent with quality medical marijuana.
• Applies basic understanding of weights in grams and ounces to accurately weigh and record all wet and dry trim weights.
• Occasionally required to trim off the stick once plants are dry.
• Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of all warehouse or staging areas while trimming.
• May be assigned other job duties as necessary.
• Operate with integrity and honesty.
• Communicate known issues to the management team to ensure a smooth flow of operations within the company.

MUST-HAVES:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a background check and not have been convicted of any felony offense.
• MICHIGAN Drivers License and a Reliable Vehicle.
• You must be comfortable with commuting at times between 1hr - 1.5hr to various grower locations around your Michigan area.
• Be ON-TIME to Trim Team meetup location prior to the start of a shift.
• Dedicated to keeping your commitments and show up for all shifts you accept: Last minute shift cancelations are unacceptable.
• Ability to work well on your own and within a team.
• Maintain a friendly profession demeanor at all times.
• Ability to work with hands for 10 hours.
• Ability to handle long periods of sitting and some periods of standing.
• Light walking and stair or ladder climbing on occasion.
• Good up-close eyesight.
• Ability to lift and carry 30lbs or more for short distances.
• Knowledge and familiarity with Cannabis, a passion for serving the medical cannabis community.
• Works efficiently and strives to increase productivity.
• Ability to handle and safeguard confidential and sensitive information.
• Must Sign a Non-complete agreement not to trim for another trimming service.
• Comfortable in at 1099 Contract position.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Education: High school or equivalent. (Preferred)
• Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Organization and planning skills.
• Ability to build relationships.
