What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Bather position at Lovely Pets Chicago LLC?
Duties:
- Bathe and groom pets according to client specifications
- Handle and restrain pets as necessary during bathing and grooming procedures
- Clean and sanitize grooming tools and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with other tasks as needed, such as pet sitting or kennel duties
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a pet bather or in a related role is preferred, but not required
- Ability to handle and lift heavy animals (up to 50 pounds)
- Knowledge of different breeds and their grooming requirements is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide friendly customer service
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
