In this role you will...
Possess a deep dedication to patient well-being, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong commitment to providing outstanding assistance to our clinic team.
- Maintain and organize patient medical records, ensuring accurate documentation of all procedures, treatments, and medications.
- Perform prior authorizations and appeals
- Triage incoming phone calls and messages
- Perform basic medical procedures such as collecting vital signs, conducting physical assessments, and obtaining patient medical histories.
- Facilitate patient lab work by preparing ordered labs and pathology samples to be sent out
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for procedures.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Prepare examination rooms by ensuring they are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist providers with medical treatments, procedures, and exams.
- Assist nursing team with daily duties to include: laundry, sterilizing rooms

We are looking for someone with:
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, medical professionals, and other external parties in a courteous, helpful, and friendly manner.
- Previous experience in a dermatology clinic or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Team focused mentality: jump in where you can to minimize wait times.
