Driver Manager - Logistics Operations

We’re looking for a Driver Manager to join our dynamic team and ensure smooth, efficient, and safe delivery operations. What You’ll Do:

✅ Manage and support delivery drivers across DOT and non-DOT vehicles
✅ Monitor route progress, driver safety, and package handling in real time
✅ Investigate and resolve routing issues, time theft, and package discrepancies
✅ Coordinate and execute delivery rescues to minimize return-to-station (RTS) rates
✅ Track and maintain company assets (vans, phones, equipment, etc.)
✅ Ensure compliance with all safety and training protocols (DVIC, Ementor, Netradyne, etc.)
✅ Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance coaching
✅ Communicate daily updates and expectations to drivers and leadership
✅ Serve as a backup driver as needed
✅ Maintain detailed and accurate records across all systems and reports

What We’re Looking For:

🔹 Proven experience in driver management, logistics, or fleet coordination
🔹 Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle compliance
🔹 Excellent organizational and time management skills
🔹 Ability to handle high-pressure situations and solve problems quickly
🔹 Tech-savvy with experience using routing, safety, and communication software
🔹 Willingness to drive and assist operationally as needed
🔹 Strong communicator with a people-first mindset

 

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Amazon logistics experience

• Previous DOT certification

• Fleet maintenance or mechanical knowledge
