Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description
Lead a team to ensure smooth restaurant operations, drive sales, and enhance customer satisfaction in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through facilities and equipment maintenance, and adherence to proper food safety procedures.
- Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager with task execution, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Work with the team to prepare and package customer orders in a timely manner to maximize customer service expectations and results.
- Understand financial reporting, including analyzing profit and loss statements, and affecting change to capture and capitalize on opportunities.
- Collaborate with Restaurant Manager in the efforts of talent acquisition.
Requirements:
- Ability to work various shift times, including days, afternoons, evenings, nights, occasional overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- 1 years of restaurant management experience.
- 1 years of managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1 million.
- 1 years of affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
- 1 years of supervising and training 5-10 employees.
- Intermediate level computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- A valid driver's license and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

- Exceptional customer service, positive rapport building, expert salesmanship, and ensuring satisfaction by managing operations and employee-vehicle deployment.

- Physical Demands: Regular talking and hearing. Active involvement requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. Frequent lifting/moving of items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required.
