Restaurant Assistant Manager
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Love's Travel Stops. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of restaurant management experience, with a proven track record of driving sales and improving customer satisfaction.
Job Functions:
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through regular facilities and equipment maintenance, adhering to proper food safety procedures.
- Sales and Inventory Management: Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
- Task Execution and Reporting: Assist the Restaurant Manager with task execution, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Customer Service: Work with the team to prepare and package customer orders in a timely manner to maximize customer service expectations and results.
- Financial Analysis: Understand financial reporting, including analyzing profit and loss statements and affecting change to capture opportunities.
Requirements:
- Ability to work various shift times, including days, afternoons, evenings, nights, occasional overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- 1 year of restaurant management experience.
- 1 year of managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1 million.
- 1 year of affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
- 1 year of supervising and training 5-10 employees.
- Intermediate level computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- A valid driver's license and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
