Job Description
A Restaurant Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. They assist in leading staff, managing processes, and executing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through proper food safety procedures and facilities maintenance.
- Drive sales by efficiently ordering, stocking, managing inventory, and preparing food.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager with task execution, schedule integrity, cash handling, and daily reporting.
- Work with the team to prepare orders in a timely manner, maximizing customer service expectations.
- Understand financial reporting, including analyzing profit and loss statements to capture opportunities.
Requirements:
- Ability to work various shift times, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
- 1 year of restaurant management experience, with at least 1 year of managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1 million.
- Experience affecting budgets and P&L statements, as well as supervising and training 5-10 employees.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- A valid driver's license and successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
