Job Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, with responsibilities including leading staff, managing processes, and executing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety and Maintenance: Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through facilities and equipment maintenance, adhering to proper food safety procedures.
- Sales and Inventory: Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
- Task Execution and Reporting: Assist the Restaurant Manager with task execution and completion, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Customer Service: Work with the team to prepare and package customer orders in a timely manner to maximize customer service expectations and results.
- Financial Management: Understand financial reporting, analyzing profit and loss statements and affecting change to capture and capitalize on opportunities.
- Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager in talent acquisition efforts.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1 year of restaurant management experience, 1 year of managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1 million, and 1 year of supervising and training 5-10 employees.
- Certifications: Valid driver's license and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional customer service, positive rapport building, expert salesmanship, and strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
