Restaurant Assistant Manager
The Restaurant Assistant Manager plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant, fostering an environment where individuals passionate about the food industry can thrive.
About the Role:
- Maintain a safe and clean facility through regular maintenance and adherence to proper food safety procedures.
- Drive sales through effective inventory management, food preparation, and customer order fulfillment.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in executing daily tasks, maintaining schedule and cash integrity, and providing accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with the team to prepare and package customer orders efficiently, exceeding customer expectations.
- Analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Partner with the Restaurant Manager in talent acquisition efforts.
Requirements:
- Able to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, nights, occasional overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- At least 1 year of restaurant management experience.
- Proven track record of managing operations with annual sales volume exceeding $1 million.
- Experience with budgeting and financial analysis, deciphering P&L statements.
- Successful supervisory and training experience with teams of 5-10 employees.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- A valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
