Restaurant Assistant Manager
As a key member of our restaurant team, the Restaurant Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in leading staff, managing processes, and executing strategies to drive sales growth and enhance customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through regular facilities and equipment maintenance, as well as adherence to proper food safety procedures. This includes maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency throughout the restaurant.
- Drive sales of products and services by implementing efficient ordering, stocking, and inventory management practices, as well as ensuring exceptional food preparation quality. This requires a strong understanding of menu items, pricing, and customer preferences.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager with task execution, schedule integrity, cash handling, and daily, weekly, and monthly reporting. This involves analyzing data, identifying trends, and making recommendations to improve performance.
- Work collaboratively with the team to prepare and package customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring maximum customer service expectations are met. This requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Develop a deep understanding of financial reporting, including profit and loss statements, to analyze business performance and identify opportunities for growth. This requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies, focusing on attracting, retaining, and developing top-performing team members.
Requirements:
- Able to work various shift times, including days, afternoons, evenings, nights, occasional overnights, weekends, and holidays. This requires flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to go above and beyond to meet business needs.
- 1 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role. This has provided a solid foundation in operations management, customer service, and team development.
- Proven track record of managing operations with annual sales volumes exceeding $1 million, demonstrating expertise in driving revenue growth and optimizing business performance.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in creating and interpreting budgets and profit and loss statements. This requires a deep understanding of financial metrics, cost control, and return on investment (ROI) analysis.
- Effective supervisory and training skills, with experience in leading teams of 5-10 employees. This involves coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to achieve their full potential.
- Intermediate-level computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel, to support administrative tasks, data analysis, and reporting.
- A valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. This ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and maintains a safe working environment.
