Job Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, assisting with leading staff, managing processes, and implementing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have 1 year of restaurant management experience, including supervising and training 5-10 employees, as well as intermediate-level computer skills using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel. A valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening are also required.
In this dynamic team environment, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through facilities and equipment maintenance, as well as adherence to proper food safety procedures.
- Driving sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
- Assisting the Restaurant Manager with task execution, schedule and cash integrity, and completing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Collaborating with the team to prepare and package customer orders in a timely manner to maximize customer service expectations and results.
- Understanding financial reporting, including analyzing profit and loss statements and making adjustments to capture opportunities.
