What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier and Customer Experience Specialist position at Loves Travel Stops & Country Store?
Key Job Functions
As a Cashier, you will provide fast, friendly, and accurate services to customers. This includes general customer service duties such as helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
You will also balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
Additionally, you will use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
- Cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements
To be successful as a Cashier, you should have excellent communication skills, be able to move, lift 25 pounds, and work in various temperatures. No experience? No problem. We will teach you!
