Job Description
As a Cashier at Loves Travel Stops & Country Stores, you will be part of a fast-paced environment where flexibility and teamwork are essential. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Providing fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers
- Performing various duties depending on business needs
- Maintaining clean areas with friendly faces
You may also perform additional duties such as cross-training in other departments like Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Your ability to move, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in various temperatures is crucial for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- General customer service duties, including helping customers find items and addressing their needs
- Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities
- Ensuring proper food safety conditions for our fresh food and deli products
- Cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs
