About the Role
The Diesel Technician at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores is responsible for maintaining clean places with friendly faces, ensuring customer satisfaction while complying with company safety policies. Key duties include troubleshooting light mechanical issues, providing preventative maintenance services, and assisting customers with roadside services.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
- Provide preventative maintenance services to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Assist customers with roadside services, including fueling and vehicle inspections.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety policies.
Requirements:
- Ability to move, lift 75 pounds, and work in close quarters.
- Capacity to work in various temperatures.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers.
- Basic knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems.
