The Role
We're seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic at Loves, you'll work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean facilities with friendly faces. You'll interact with customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and day better. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues, assisting customers with roadside services, and providing preventative maintenance services.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need the ability to troubleshoot and repair various mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components. You should be able to lift 75 pounds and work in close quarters. Additionally, you must be able to work in various temperatures and prioritize customer safety and satisfaction, adhering to company safety policies and procedures. A rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed is also required. Finally, you'll need to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation, which will be paid by Loves.
