Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment and commercial trucks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues with wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
- Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance services
- Maintain clean places with friendly faces and interact with customers & drivers from all over
Requirements:
- Ability to move, lift 75 pounds working in close quarters
- Ability to work in various temperatures
- Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
