What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Technician position at Loves Travel Stops & Country Store?
**About the Role**
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean facilities with friendly faces.
You will interact with customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and day better. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
- Assisting customers with roadside services.
- Providing preventative maintenance services.
In this role, you will be able to move, lift 75 pounds while working in close quarters and will be able to work in various temperatures. You must always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies and procedures.
Your schedule will alternate between day and night shifts as needed. To be successful in this role, you must be able to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
