About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean facilities with friendly faces. You will interact with customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and day better.
Job Functions:
- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
- Assist customers with roadside services
- Provide preventative maintenance services
- Move, lift up to 75 pounds while working in close quarters
- Work in various temperatures
- Put customer safety and satisfaction first, adhering to company safety policies and procedures
- Work a rotating schedule, alternating between day and night as needed
- Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
