Job Summary:
A Diesel Technician at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores maintains clean facilities with friendly faces, interacting with customers & drivers from all over to make their travels and day better.
Job Functions:
- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
- Assist customers with roadside services
- Provide preventative maintenance services
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Moving and lifting up to 75 pounds in close quarters
- Working in various temperatures
- Ensuring customer safety and satisfaction by complying with company safety policies & procedures
- Working a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
- Obtaining a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
