Job Title: Diesel Technician
Description:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining clean facilities with friendly faces, interacting with customers and drivers from all over, and making their travels and day better.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
- Assist customers with roadside services
- Provide preventative maintenance services
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
Requirements:
- Ability to move and lift 75 pounds in close quarters
- Ability to work in various temperatures
- Medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
