Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues with diesel engines, as well as providing preventative maintenance services to our customers.
About the Job:
- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues with diesel engines, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
- Provide preventative maintenance services to our customers
- Assist customers with roadside services
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Ability to move and lift 75 pounds in close quarters
- Ability to work in various temperatures
- Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license required
