What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Technician position at Loves Travel Stops & Country Store?
Job Summary:
In a fast-paced environment, our Diesel Technicians maintain clean facilities with friendly faces. They interact with customers & drivers from all over, enhancing their travels and day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
- Assist customers with roadside services.
- Provide preventative maintenance services.
Requirements:
- Ability to move and lift 75 pounds while working in close quarters.
- Capacity to work in various temperatures.
- Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction, adhering to company safety policies & procedures.
- Able to work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
- Able to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
