Job Title: Diesel Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues on diesel engines, as well as providing preventative maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
- Assist customers with roadside services, ensuring their vehicles are safe and operable
- Provide preventative maintenance services to help extend the life of our customers' vehicles
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in diesel mechanics a plus
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in close quarters
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Loves)
