Job Summary:
A Diesel Technician role at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores involves working in a fast-paced environment to maintain clean facilities with friendly faces. Interacting with customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and day better.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
- Assist customers with roadside services
- Provide preventative maintenance services
Requirements:
- Ability to move and lift 75 pounds while working in close quarters
- Ability to work in various temperatures
- Put customer safety and satisfaction first by complying with company safety policies and procedures
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
- Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
