About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean facilities with friendly faces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.
- Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance services.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Ability to move and lift 75 pounds while working in close quarters.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
