Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean facilities with friendly faces.
You will interact with customers & drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better. Your primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues, providing preventative maintenance services, and assisting customers with roadside services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
- Provide preventative maintenance services to ensure vehicles are running safely and efficiently
- Assist customers with roadside services, putting their safety and satisfaction first
Requirements:
- Ability to move, lift 75 pounds while working in close quarters
- Ability to work in various temperatures
- Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
