What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Technician position at Loves Travel Stops & Country Store?
Job Summary: As a Diesel Technician at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores, you will work in a fast-paced environment maintaining clean facilities with friendly faces. You will interact with customers & drivers from all over, making their travels and day better.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
- Assist customers with roadside services
- Provide preventative maintenance services
Requirements:
- Ability to move, lift 75 pounds while working in close quarters
- Ability to work in various temperatures
- Must put the safety and satisfaction of customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures
- Will work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
- Must be able to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
