Job Summary
We are seeking an Operations Manager to assist and oversee daily operations at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. The successful candidate will lead a team, manage processes, and execute strategies to drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple business operations including retail store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care.
- E nsure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through regular checks and maintenance.
- Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards.
- Collaborate with managers to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Understand financial reporting, analyze profit and loss statements, and affect change to capture opportunities.
- Collaborate with managers in talent acquisition efforts.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in retail, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management.
- 2 years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2 million.
- 2 years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
- 2 years supervising and training 5-10 employees.
- Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work various shift times, including days, afternoons, evenings, nights, occasional overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Effective teamwork skills.
