About the Role
We are seeking an Operations Manager to assist and oversee daily operations at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team and manage processes to grow sales and meet organizational goals.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through regular maintenance and safety checks.
- Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards.
- Assist the General Manager with task execution, schedule integrity, and daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Understand financial reporting, including analyzing profit and loss statements and affecting change to capitalize on opportunities.
Requirements:
- 2 years in retail, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management.
- 2 years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2 million.
- 2 years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
- 2 years supervising and training 5-10 employees.
- Intermediate level computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
