About the Role
Operations Managers at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores play a crucial part in driving efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. As a leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations to grow sales and meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through regular inspections and maintenance.
- Drive sales of products and services by implementing efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards.
- Assist the General Manager with task execution, schedule and cash integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with managers to acquire and retain top talent.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in retail, travel stop, or c-store management.
- Proven track record of managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2 million.
- Intermediate-level computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work varied shift times, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
